Karl Marx

It was a great shock for BBC and the Capitalist on seeing the results of the survey of most influential people ever in the history of the world conducted by BBC. Results shown that the people all around the world have named one man ‘KARL MARX’ as the most influential person. The second place was given to Albert Einstein and then Isaac Newton. The surprising thing was BBC has not included the name of Marx in their list of nominations, even then the viewers named him. 117 years after Marx’s death it was accepted by world that Marxism is the truth.

Recently I read a book called ‘Marx Forever’ by Ja.Maadhavaraj (Tamil), which gave a lot of insights in to the life, philosophy and Importance of Marx and his socialist philosophies. Marx was a student when Hegel, a great economist and philosopher died. Before Marx there were countable number of economist and philosopher tried to explain the socioeconomic models. But some were religious and tried to describe things in the name of god. Marx went through all those works and he was comfortable with what Hegel said. He was different from Hegel that Marx chosen Atheism and tried to explain all worries happens as a result of Capitalism. (more…)

The director of the movie, Jananaathan, he himself a socialist tried and successfully justified the arguments of socialism in the minds of common man. it is true after watching that movie i then searched the books and other sources to understand the great people like Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Joseph stalin, Che guvera etc and books like Das capital, Communist manifesto etc. (more…)

Income inequality and financial economic exclusion are the two toughest problems encountered, not only particular to any country; it is a world’s most dangerous problem. People die on hunger and poverty.

I always had a question in my mind that, even after all this technological improvement and human development (!) why millions and millions of people die?

It is not because of non-availability of food, but it is because of unequal opportunities that seeds inequality among the people. In this blog, I have also written an article regarding the differences about capitalism and socialism kind of economic structure.

Karl Marx forecasted that capitalism is not a sustainable economic structure because it promotes inequality among people, opportunities for most of the working people are ignored for the benefit of few owners. He said Socialism is the only solution for all human economic problems and it directs us towards prosperity. In his book Das capital he claims that a sweeping revolution will happen which will throughout the capitalist people. Those revolutions will not happen suddenly but gradually in one form or other it will happen. (more…)

So many great inventions came during that time  like knife made of sharp stones and other invaluable inventions. With those inventions man went for Hunting for food. Over a period of man’s necessities made him to invent more things like Wheel, vehicle, etc. which helped us to move around different places. Then with his inventions he learned to involve agricultural activities and produce commodities. Over a period of time man got specialized in producing certain commodities.Image

Then they started to exchange goods for goods with different groups of people .This system is called “Barter system”. They exchanged rice for wheat, and sugar for salt. Since seasonal factors are involved in production of goods they were in need of some other thing, which holds value until they produce and exchange goods. So there came the role of MONEY. They considered the Money or currency that they holds some value which will be acceptable for exchange of goods later period. Money doesn’t hold any value of its own, the main purpose of money is medium for exchange of goods. (more…)
